Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 28 September 2026. North Wales Tree and Landscape Services is a sole trader trading as North Wales Tree and Landscapes.

Quotes and Bookings

Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A booking is confirmed when I accept your instruction and agree a date. Larger jobs may require a 20% deposit, which will be shown clearly on the quote. Any additional work requested on site will be priced and agreed before it is carried out.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Deposits may be retained where less notice is given or where machinery, permits or specialist equipment have already been booked. I may reschedule work where high winds, severe weather, unsafe ground conditions or other circumstances make it unsafe to proceed.

Access and Permissions

The customer must provide safe access to the work area and tell me about underground services, septic tanks, overhead cables, concealed structures and known hazards. I will check for Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area restrictions where relevant and can assist with an application, but work cannot begin until the necessary consent has been granted.

Customer Responsibilities

Please move vehicles, garden furniture, ornaments and fragile items from the agreed work area before arrival. Pets and children must be kept away from the work zone. If access depends on a neighbour's property, the customer must obtain permission in advance.

Insurance

Work is carried out under public liability insurance. Evidence of current cover is available on request.

Waste and Timber

Unless the quote says otherwise, branches and green waste will be removed and the work area left tidy. Timber remains my property for removal unless the customer asks to retain it before work begins. Stump removal or grinding is only included where specifically listed in the quote.

Payment

Payment is due within seven days of the invoice date unless different terms are shown on the quote. I reserve the right to charge statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs on overdue commercial invoices.

Liability

I take reasonable care to protect the property and carry out work safely. I am not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden services or damage caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

If you are unhappy with any part of the work, contact me promptly on 07923 373140 or at Nwtreelandscapes@gmail.com. I will inspect the issue and make reasonable efforts to resolve it.
