Information I Collect

When you request a quote, I may collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, service required, photographs and any details you provide about the property or work. I also retain normal business records relating to quotes, appointments, invoices and completed work.

How I Use Your Information

I use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange site visits, prepare quotes, carry out agreed work, issue invoices and meet my legal and insurance obligations. I rely on legitimate interests to answer enquiries and manage my business, on contract where you appoint me, and on legal obligation for records I must retain.

Sharing Your Information

I do not sell your personal information. I only share it where necessary with trusted service providers who support my email, website, accounting or payment systems, with professional advisers and insurers, or where the law requires me to do so.

How Long I Keep It

Unsuccessful quote enquiries are normally deleted after 24 months. Customer, invoice and accounting records are retained for up to seven years after the end of the relevant financial year. Photographs used for work planning are removed when no longer required unless I have permission to retain them.

Security

I use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. Access is limited to people who need it to manage your enquiry or complete the agreed work.

Your Rights

You may ask for a copy of your personal information, request that inaccurate information is corrected, or ask me to erase or restrict its use where the law allows. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
