EMERGENCY TREE WORK

Emergency Tree Work in North Wales

I'm Craig, a fully insured tree surgeon based in Rhuddlan, and I respond to storm-damaged and fallen trees across North Wales. I aim to be on site the same day to make the tree safe. Call 07923 373140 straight away if a tree is dangerous.

ABOUT THIS SERVICE

Emergency Tree Work, Done Properly

Autumn and winter storms regularly bring down trees and large limbs along the North Wales coast and across the Vale of Clwyd. A split trunk, a branch hung up in a crown, or a tree leaning against a house needs dealing with quickly and safely, not left until the next free slot in the diary.

When you call, I'll ask what has happened, whether anyone is at risk, and whether power or phone lines are involved. If a tree is touching electricity lines, stay well away and call the network operator on 105 first. Once lines are safe, I can make the tree secure, remove hazardous limbs and clear blocked drives and paths.

Emergency work is about making things safe first. If a tree needs further work later, such as a full removal or crown reduction, I'll give you a separate written quote once the immediate danger has passed, so you can make an informed decision.

QUESTIONS

Emergency Tree Work Questions

I aim to be on site the same day for genuine emergencies, such as a tree on a house, a blocked road or drive, or a large limb hanging over a path. Response times depend on how many call-outs come in during a storm, and I prioritise anything that puts people at risk.

Keep everyone well away and call 105, the national power cut number, before anything else. Never try to move branches touching lines. Once the network operator has made the lines safe, I can deal with the tree.

Many home insurance policies cover the cost of removing a tree that has damaged a building, but cover varies. Take photos before any work starts and check with your insurer. I can provide a written invoice and description of the work for your claim.

Out-of-hours and urgent call-outs can cost more than a planned job because of the timing and conditions. I'll tell you the cost before I start, so you can decide how you want to proceed.

I cover Rhyl, Prestatyn, Abergele, Denbigh, Colwyn Bay, Rhos-on-Sea, Llandudno, Conwy, Buckley and the surrounding areas from my base in Rhuddlan.
